Joseph enjoyed his first official swim lessons last week! We have a recreation center right by our house that offered a beginners class for children age 1-3. The pool is inside and the water temp was great! Here is Joseph and Nan before entering the center!

Swim lessons were a success! Joseph really seems to enjoy being in the water and his daddy can't wait to teach him how to surf! Hopefully we will still be living by the beach when that time comes! I think Joseph will get more out of the swim lessons next summer when he is able to blow bubbles with his mouth and follow directions from the swim instructor! :)
